The dragon says:
There is not enough love.
There is not enough beauty.
There is not enough attention.
There is not enough care.
There is not enough perfection.

And so we try to HOARD

Give me all of the love!
Give me all of the beauty!
Give me all of the attention!
Give me all of the care!
Give me all of the perfection!
More
More
More!!!
And it is still not enough!

The Light says:
I give you love,
all the love you need.
I give you beauty,
all the beauty you need.
I give you attention,
all the attention you need.
I give you care,
all the care you need.
I give you perfection,
all the perfection you need.
And I never run dry.
I give,
more,
more,
more.

And you continue to become
content
content
content.
“In me there is no lack.
There is more than enough for whoever you is.
All of the “yous”
Don’t be devoured by the dragon. My light, my fire is brighter and stronger.”

But I still feel the dragon, breathing down my neck,
Attempting to entice me into the desert.

We are in limbo.

In a place of security,
But the dragon is still here.

And we remember,
“We turn our own necks”
And we focus on The Face.
Always open, always restoring, always redeeming.
Always enough to begin again, again.

Thanks be to God.
