We have many new and expecting parents at Missio. At our Sunday gatherings we have a place for our kids (up to 5th grade) to go and learn about Jesus from both parents and non-parents alike in our community.
We don’t believe that kids ministry exists to relieve parents from taking care of their kids while they’re in the service. We care a great deal about the time we get to have with them and take it very seriously. When possible, we do family services that allow kids to join their parents for the entire service. They are just as much apart of Missio Dei as the adults. If you’re just visiting, your children are always welcome to stay with you in the service or join the other kids in Missio Kids. We don’t mind the sounds of restless kids or crying babies.
Currently, kids five and older join the adults in the worship service for the first few songs before being dismissed and escorted to the Missio Kids area by adults.
