God is telling his story. When times are good and our hearts are full, we forget about God. We either intentionally or unintentionally believe we don’t need him, we just need ourselves and our skill. He uses the story of a prostitute and a faithful husband to show his consistent love for us in the face of our unfaithfulness.

Micah 6:6-8 calls us to ‘do justice.’ By God sending Jesus to earth he was demonstrating his justice in Christ’s birth, death and resurrection. In following him, we seek to live lives that proclaim his justice.

The church is local and universal. As our community sits in our house churches and worship services, we are the conglomeration of other Christ followers who have influenced us.

Paul calls us to be salt. Salt looks ordinary, but it is not. If salt is removed from our food, we’d notice it instantly. As Christ followers, we are to bring the message of Jesus to our families and vocation. We do this through long-suffering, forgiveness, repentance as a means of worship.
