Candlelight Vigil
Wednesday, December 21st, there will be a candlelight vigil at 6 PM in Pioneer Park in honor of all the people who have lived and died on the streets this year. The vigil will occur a few yards away from where a gentleman died at Pioneer Park a few weeks ago. Afterwards, Joel Hunt and Cat Ryono will answer any questions and talk about their hearts for the marginalized in our community. Joel works as a Physicians Assistant for the Fourth Street Clinic and Cat is a case manager at the Homeless Youth Resource Center. It’ll be a great opportunity to mourn with our city and encounter those who may be different from us, but nevertheless are made in the image of God.
