We tend to distort our relationship with Jesus into religion. We turn his word into a set of rules demanded and rip it out of the context of relationship. In that, we create a checklist born out of our desire to justify ourselves. In Colossians, the Spirit calls us out of our rebellion and back to a relationship with Jesus.
