While Moses is away meeting with God, the Israelites put all of their gold together to build something to worship. Our hearts are prone to do the same. God provides for us, reminds us of his love and commitment to us and we often respond by worshiping the work of our hands. Thankfully, even in our rebelliousness, God pursues us and reminds us of who he is.
