On Saturday, March 19th, we will be having a Men’s and Women’s forum. We will be meeting in the University of Utah’s Guest House/Conference Center, next door to the post chapel, in meeting room C. The men will meet in the morning 8-11, and the women will meet in the afternoon 1:30 – 4:00. This will be a time for us to look at what it biblically means to be a man or woman. Luke Hendrix and Heather Thomas from Imago Dei Community will be leading these discussions. Food will be provided:)

We have been presented with the opportunity to jump into a co-ed softball league, if we have enough people that are interested. The details are as follows: games are played out in West Valley at 5135 South 2775 West, games would be every Friday evening at 6:30, 7:30, or 8:30 beginning in April with the season ending approximately in July, games are not scheduled on holiday weekends, and a tournament would end the season in late July or August.

What we need to find out asap is if there is any interest. We need both men and women who are interested to email lisa@missiodeislc.com asap so we know whether or not to go forward with entering into the league.
