As we look forward to Easter and celebrating Resurrection, one of the ways we want to do that is with baptism. Baptism is a story that Christ followers have been telling with their lives for thousands of years. If you have questions about baptism or want to be baptized, please email info@missiodeislc.com or kyle@missiodeislc.com.

Third Way Forum: Jeremy Cox will be leading follow up discussions on the Men’s forum. The discussion will start this Friday at 6:30 a.m., at the Hillcrest Building (170 E 1st Ave). This will be for the next 4 Fridays.

If any women are interested in helping lead/facilitate the organizing and leading of follow up discussions for the ladies of Missio Dei, please email lisa@missiodeislc.com.

We will be having a Good Friday service on Aprill 22, from 6:30-7:30. Childcare will be provided.

Our Easter Sunday service will begin at 10:00 a.m. More details to follow…

As the Israelites are delivered from the Egyptians they break out in Songs of Praise. As we live today the God of Liberation still reigns and praise is still the appropriate response.

The men will meet in the morning 8-11, and the women will meet in the afternoon 1:30 – 4:00. This will be a time for us to look at what it biblically means to be a man or woman. God is constantly redefining our definitions of relationship.  Just as we think we understand, he challenges us again, but the good news is that God protects his people even though it sometimes means long detours and seemingly unnecessary journeys back to the places we thought we left behind.

God plants himself among the Israelites as a pillar of fire by day and a cloud by night continually proving that he is with them.  He didn’t tell them to build a statue or an idol to remind them of his guidance.  He personally dwells with them and leads them out of Egypt into something unknown.  Today, the same God plants himself among us through the Holy Spirit and guides us in a way don’t always understand.
