We tend to believe the characters in the bible were chosen by God because of the attributes they brought to the table. But God is telling his story through broken people chosen simply because of God’s great attribute of love. We are broken, incapable people just like the folks in the bible. But that’s not the point. God is telling a story of who he is through us.
