This Sunday both house churches will be meeting together at the University of Utah’s Student Union building. The address is 200 S Central Campus Dr. Afterwards, we will be having a potluck dinner. Bring a dish to share!

This week Kora will be in charge of childcare.

Our next prayer night will be Wednesday, October 13th. We will be meeting at the downtown house church at 6:30.

The Cox family will be moving Sunday morning! They will start at their storage unit, 8:00 a.m., at 1560 W North Temple, and will be moving to 1532 W Talisman Dr. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Justine will be doing childcare at the 9th and 9th church. Chris and Kathryn are in charge of snacks.

For the downtown church, Isaac and Travis are in charge of childcare, and Nash and Kora will be in charge of snacks.

This week we have a special announcement.  Josh Rosenthal will be joining the staff of Missio Dei as an Associate Pastor.  Josh will be working half time and overseeing our core value of Worship.  Please watch the short video below to get to know Josh just a little better and to learn about his incredible skills.

Just a reminder, we will be having our monthly prayer meeting tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 15, at 6:30.  It will be held at the downtown house church.

On September 17, Levi will be heading up the first “Cultural Engagement”  event of the month.  The SLC downtown library is hosting a discussion on immigration.  We will meet up at 6:30 at the northeast corner of the library by the comic book store.  Following the forum we will meet at the downtown house church for discussions.

This week all house churches will be meeting at Gourmandise Bakery (250 South 300 East) at 4pm for combined worship gathering with a potluck following.  Bring your favorite dish to share and hang out after.
